Seals Of The Monasteries	17.11 Seal of the Karakalou Monastery late 19th c. Karakalou Monastery Copper alloy, diameter 4.75 cm, height 6.45 cm
	Represented on the matrix of this seal are the Apostles Peter and Paul (to whom the Karakalou Monastery was dedicated) holding up a model of the katholikon of that foundation. Around the perimeter runs the legend: + ΣΦPAΓIΣ TOY IEPOY KOINOBIOY TOY KAPAKAΛOY ('Seal of the Cenobitic Monastery of Karakalou').
